seminar was held in Smolny on the 17 of May 2006 with participation
of United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Russian
Ministry of Natural Resources, Environmental Committee of The State
Duma RF and companies' representatives.
seminar was dedicated to the economic and environmental advantages
and benefits of the new concept of potentialy dangerous chemicals
circulation - the Chemical Leasing and prospects of its implementation
by Russian Industrial enterprises and companies that provide housing
and communal services.
Leasing (ChL) Business Model was originally developed and approved
by the Austrian Ministry of Environment. Now it is applied in different
countries through the National Cleaner Production Centres' net under
the UNIDO's support.

was opened by the Chairman of Committee for Use of Natural Resources,
Environment Protection, and Environmental Safety - Dmitry A. Golubev.
Welcoming the seminar's participants Mr. Golubev noted: "The
first steps of the new concept implementation in Saint-Petersburg
demonstrate that Chemical Leasing business models can be succesfully
applied and cause benefits for the environmental enterprises such
as well-known in the Baltic Region company "Krasny Bor"....And
our Committee will support the new UNIDO project realizing its great
representatives who took part in the seminar:
